The Cobra found it's way into our stable thanks to the generosity of a fellow racer, and a deal that was too good to refuse. While not widely known in Australia outside hardcore racing circles, the Cobra is a US-made racing machine which became the 1st American-made motorcycle to win a major championship with a 65cc series win in 2008. While the engine and frame are custom made Cobra goodies, many of the other bits are borrowed from other successful brands including Kawasaki, KTM and Marzocchi. Curtis immediately found the Cobra's somewhat unique geometry comfortable, and set about improving on his RM65 lap times immediately.
